Abstract:
The first part of this paper aims to review the process of housing development in Taiwan, its trends and characteristics as well as the movements and history that have influenced it.
The second part focuses on housing projects which have received the "Taiwan Residential Architecture Award" sponsored by Taiwan Architecture magazine. These premiated projects successfully describe the development and efforts of Taiwan residential design over the past decade.
